IET events this October

October’s IET events offer opportunities to network, improve on your skills and attend informative lectures and technical visits.

October is jam-packed with all nature of events for young engineers. As well as a huge array of informative lectures, there’s a great selection of technical visits on offer, such as trips to Siemens Ruston Works, Ariel Motor Company and several brewery tours!

A variety of Lifeskills workshops are being held across the UK if you’d like to improve on your soft skills, and there’s also several technical courses taking place including an introduction to systems engineering.

Finally, October hosts the annual Young Professionals event, which this year is being presented by Professor Paul Newman, BP Professor of Information Engineering, Head of The Oxford Mobile Robotics Group, EPSRC Leadership Fellow, Dept Engineering Science, University of Oxford.
