IET events this October

There’s a variety of events taking place this month including some great technical visits, training courses and meet-ups for new members.

Students and young professionals will be happy to find out that many of this month’s events are focused towards them. As well as opportunities for new members to meet and find out how the IET can support them, there are great training opportunities and events run by students themselves, such as Loughborough University’s Homebrew Society.

Then there’s also the MATLAB EXPO 2013 and this year’s Mountbatten Memorial Lecture, which will be given by the UK Minister for Universities and Science, David Willetts.

Here are a few of our highlights for the month, but also be sure to check out the full IET events listings to find out about everything taking place near you.
