IET events this December

Why not share a mince pie with like-minded young engineers at one of the IET’s many Christmas lectures this December?

Throughout December the IET’s local networks (LNs) host special Christmas lectures and this year’s topics cover everything from how universities and industries could better work together through to solar superstorms and the Large Hadron Collider. The successful Pythagorean cabaret night also returns, bringing its eclectic mix of scientific entertainers to Belfast this month.

If you’re currently focusing on professional development then make sure you find out what Lifeskills workshops are taking place near you in December. Free courses on offer include leading and developing successful teams and the fundamentals of project management.

Here are a few of our highlights for the month, but also be sure to check out the full IET events listings to find out about everything taking place near you.
