Skyscape Cloud Services has announced an expansion of its undergraduate internship programme, adding nine new places to the scheme.
The scheme has been designed to help develop key digital, technical and engineering skills and experience, vital when working with large-scale cloud and virtualised computing environments. The new roles exist within a variety of functional areas including portal development, operations analysis, automation, product analysis and marketing coordination.
Open to all undergraduates, the internship programme is initially being offered as a sandwich placement, but longer-term employment may be available following the successful completion of the placement. There are also opportunities for successful applicants to take appropriate professional examinations in order to gain further qualifications from technology vendors including VMware, EMC and Cisco.
“We look forward to welcoming more undergraduates to our rapidly growing business as we near the end of what’s been an exciting year,” said Simon Hansford, CTO of Skyscape Cloud Services. “We’re passionate about doing our bit to support education and foster technical expertise, as we continue in our mission to transform the face of public sector IT procurement.”
