Imperial invites students to policy politics and science event

Imperial College is hosting a student conference on policy, politics and science this December covering international issues ranging from energy and the environment to data and cyber security and innovation for economic development.

Held at Imperial College’s Business School, London, the evening will take the form of three interactive workshop sessions followed by a high level panel discussion and a drinks reception.

The event’s keynote speaker is Adam Afriye, who was UK Shadow Minister for Science and Innovation from 2007 to 2010, and is current chair of the Parliamentary Office of Science & Technology (POST). Prior to becoming an MP in 2005, Afriye was a successful entrepreneur in the information services and technology sector.
