New survey wants to hear from STEM undergrads

A new survey is aiming to find out more about the motivations and career intentions of current engineering and technology undergraduates.

Funded by the National HE STEM Programme, current engineering and technology undergraduates are being asked to spare 10-20 minutes of their time to fill in an anonymous survey, which also offers the opportunity to be entered into a price draw to win Amazon tokens ranging from £10-100.

The aim of the survey is to find out more about students' plans for the future and the Programme wants to hear from undergrads whether or not they plan to continue in the sector after graduation.

The Programme supports higher education institutions in the exploration of new approaches to recruiting students and delivering programmes of study within the STEM disciplines, and is part of the HE STEM Set to Lead project.

The closing date to take part in the survey is 15 January 2012.
