A road and rail transportation conference aimed at women in technical areas is being held on October 7.
‘Getting there’ - organised by the Women’s Engineering Society (WES), and supported by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) - is a forum for women working in technical areas to share expertise, enjoy technology and inspire others.
This year’s theme is road and rail transportation, and speakers from different engineering backgrounds will cover policy drivers, technological development, sustainability and engineering innovations in all aspects of road and rail transportation.
The conference is on October 7, at Savoy Place in London. It is open to anyone wishing to attend, click here to register.
