Cash Converters' money's on ITIL-based business management

Loans, cheque cashing, and pawnbroking chain Cash Converters is migrating its business service incidents system across 310 outlets in the UK and Australia to the Remedy Ondemand solution from BMC Software.

BMC Remedy OnDemand SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform comprises an integrated enterprise-class service management suite and a self-service model; the system has also been implemented to support business change caused by future acquisitions. The company is also in the process of setting-up an 18-agent ITIL-compliant service desk.

“Companies are moving critical business services into the Cloud,” says BMC Software vice-president Jeremy Duggan. “[This contract is indicative of] the shift in mindset from talking about Cloud-based services, to a requirement for systems that actually support and deliver them.”
