McLaren Automotive has offered a tour of its F1 facility as a prize in support of The Big Bang engineering fair

Win a tour of McLaren Automotive's F1 facility

The Big Bang has teamed up with McLaren Automotive to offer one lucky fan and their family the chance for a guided tour of the home of McLaren.

The prize is to promote The Big Bang: UK Young Scientists’ and Engineers’ Fair, to be held at ICC ExCeL on 10 to 12 March 2011.

McLaren’s Technology Centre is one of the most high-tech facilities in the world. The facility builds Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula One cars, as well as the new McLaren MP4-12C supercar, and is usually off limits to anyone other than sponsors and employees.

The lucky winner will get to experience a day in the life of a McLaren Automotive Engineer, be taken on a tour of the facility, meet some of engineers and view first-hand the Production Hall in which the 12C is being hand built.
