'We are voice of UK cyber security sector' claim ADS and Intellect

Industry group ADS has signed a MoU with technology association Intellect in a move to present themselves as the representative body of the UK cyber security industry.

ADS and Intellect say they have agreed to work together in order to ensure that there is a single clear voice representing the cyber security industries in the UK, and which will also act as the prime point of contact between Government and industry.

“Cyber security is a vital area of national, company, and individual security, says ADS chief executive Rees Ward (pictured above, left, with Intellect director general John Higgins at the signing). “It is important that trade organisations with a shared interest in this area work together to… offer Government a clear conduit to the cyber industries. This will [bring] a coherent approach to a number of aspects of policy standards and procurement.”
