A summer of.... graphical system design?

Engineers and scientists have been invited to attend a summer school that it is claimed will help them develop test, measurement and control applications.

National Instruments UK & Ireland said that taking part in August’s Summer of LabVIEW would enable scientists and engineers to develop their knowledge and expertise of the NI graphical programming language.

“Regardless of experience, attendees will learn how to rapidly and cost-effectively interface with measurement and control hardware, analyse data, share results and distribute systems,” the company added.

Among other areas, the series of webcasts will help attendees explore data acquisition and test automation, answer questions such as build or buy, and learn how sophisticated robots can be built with simplicity, NI claimed.

Starting on 3rd August, the webcasts will be broadcast twice each day, at 10am and 2pm, and registered attendees will be able to interact directly with the presenter and other attendees.
