'Best Pub' praises role played by EPoS system

The Wiremill Inn in Lingfield, Surrey – crowned ‘Best British Pub 2010’ and ‘Britain’s Best Freehouse 2010’ at The Publican National Pub Awards – has acknowledged the role its EPOS system played in winning the accolades.

The awards judges chose the winning pub based on a range of criteria, including best customer service, innovation in the industry, staff development and all round appearance.

The Wiremill Inn is an independent, privately owned pub. The hostelry employs 23 local staff in the Sussex, Surrey, and Kent borders.

“Part of our recognition was because of our stance on innovation and change in the industry, and [our chosen solution] PointOne EPoS has been a large factor in helping to deliver that for us,” says Wiremill Inn director Anthony Pender (pictured).
