Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 comes to Vodafone in April

The Xperia X10, the most hotly-anticipated mobile phone Sony Ericsson has produced in some time, will arrive in Britain in April, Vodafone has announced. The mobile uses Android as its base OS, but overlaid on top of that is Sony Ericsson's proprietary "UX" interface.

The Sony Ericsson Xperial X10's UX or "Rachael" as it was codenamed features TimeScape, where all of your incoming messages ‑ texts, emails and social networking site updates ‑ are ordered chronologically; and MediaScape, which acts like iTunes Genius in finding new media content (music, videos etc.) you might like based on your existing content. Both feature "Infinite" options that allow you to backtrack through message threads or by individual infinitely.

Other Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 specs include: "3.5G" HSDPA data, wi-fi, Bluetooth, eight megapixel camera, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, four inch capacitive touchscreen

Pricing and contract details are yet to be announced by Vodafone.
