No direction home? Just ask Bob

Rock and folk music legend Bob Dylan has claimed he is "talking to a couple of car companies" about becoming the voice of their GPS system.

The 60s protest singer, now in his 60s, mentioned the conversations on his BBC Radio 6 Music Sunday show which was on the theme of street maps.

Dylan gave his listeners a sample of what it might sound like: “Left at the next street. No, right. You know what? Just go straight....I probably shouldn't do it because whichever way I go, I always end up at one place - on Lonely Avenue.”

Previous celebrity satnav voices have included John Cleese and Homer Simpson.
