Prague hosts CIRED 2009

CIRED, the major international electricity conference and exhibition, is the leading forum at which the electricity distribution community meets every two years in various venues in Europe, with a worldwide perspective and participation. The 2009 event, which runs from 8-11 June, is the 20th in the series and will take place in Prague, at the city's Congress Centre. Organised by the IET, CIRED covers the whole field of electricity distribution systems and associated services, including dispersed and embedded generation issues, technical aspects of electricity supply, and related aspects such as cost reduction, environment, regulation, organisation and related IT systems. The call for papers attracted more than a thousand abstracts from 50 countries, more than ever, and 47 companies from across Europe are to exhibit. [new window], email
