Just because summer has come to an end, you don't have to spend evenings indoors - this month's selection might spur you to stay outside.

1. Corgi H2Go Hydro Car

Although only a toy, this could lay claim to being the first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Corgi collaborated with Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies, a company that's also working with the life-size car companies. As its name suggests, it has a hydrogen fuel cell under its plastic bonnet. Additionally, the rechargeable base is fitted with a solar panel to help drive the electrolysis that enables the car to recharge in less than four minutes. It also has a streamlined chassis designed by Professor Luigi Colani who has designed for Alpha Romeo, BMW and Ferrari. Such a shame that it's not a little larger.
