WiMax exhibitors woo the Millennial Generation in Amsterdam

Motorola will give a live WiMax gaming demonstration in Amsterdam on 17-18 June,  inviting visitors at the stand to challenge others both on-site and virtually via the online gaming server.

Exhibitors will be demonstrating a variety of applications over WiMax, including VoIP, video streaming, and gaming. Intel, Samsung, Nokia Siemens Networks, Nortel, Alcatel-Lucent and Alvarion are among the participants in the WiMAX Forum Global Congress 2008, which will be held in Amsterdam from 17-18 June.

Recent research from Motorola revealed that amongst 1,000 members of the Millennial Generation (ages 16-27), 76 percent believe that their personal lifestyle would change dramatically without the Internet.
