Version One is Green Award Winner for third time

Document management firm Version One has won an International Green Hero Award in recognition of its Carbon Neutral Initiative: this scheme reduces and offsets the company̵7;s CO2 emissions, and includes the planting of up to 1000 native broad-leaved trees each year.

Document management firm Version One has won an International Green Hero Award in recognition of its Carbon Neutral Initiative: this scheme reduces and offsets the company̵7;s CO2 emissions, and includes the planting of up to 1000 native broad-leaved trees each year.

This is the third year running that Version One has receieved a Green Hero Award by UK environment group The Green Organisation. The award is presented to companies that demonstrate environmental best practice and a commitment to helping others follow their environmental lead. The Green Book, published by The Green Organisation, includes white papers from ̵6;Green Heroes̵7; and is the only international work of reference on environmental best practice.

Version One marketing manager Catherine Murphy was presented with the award by seasoned environmentalist Professor David Bellamy OBE, at a ceremony held at the Tower of London. ̶0;We̵7;re very proud to have received this Green Hero Award,̶1; Murphy says. ̶0;It recognises the Version One team̵7;s ongoing commitment to our green agenda - we look forward to examining additional ways in which Version One can make a positive environmental impact.̶1;
