JustSystems Teams with IBM for enterprise structured authoring

Japanese software vendor JustSystems has inked a OEM partnership with IBM to bring XML and component-based authoring to the enterprise. JustSystems will embed and resell IBM WebSphere Information Integrator Content Edition (IICE) with its new XMetaL for ECM offering.

Japanese software vendor JustSystems has inked a OEM partnership with IBM to bring XML and component-based authoring to the enterprise. The terms of the deal mean that JustSystems will embed and resell IBM WebSphere Information Integrator Content Edition (IICE) with its new XMetaL for ECM offering.

By combining XMetaL with IICE, XMetaL becomes a structured authoring application that can connect to more than 20 commercial repositories and file systems the companies claim.
