Housing offers added protection

The new Han(r)3A INOX from Harting is an industrial connector housing made of high-grade steel to provide protection against corrosion for use in food manufacture and related process industries.

It allows flexible interconnection technology in industries where the need for sealing against corrosion has meant that machines and sub-assemblies have traditionally been permanently wired. This means process equipment can now be fitted with pluggable connectors using industry-standard inserts and modern quick-connect wiring technology.

The housing can accommodate inserts for fibre-optic communications as well as electrical signal and power inserts.
