16 March 2011 by James Hayes
A fake SMS text purporting to come from the BBC warning that radiation from the Fukushima nuclear plant has leaked beyond Japan has been causing confusion as it spreads across Asia. The BBC has confirmed that it has issued no such flash, and that the message is bogus.
